Come out and join us for our Women’s Conference. What started out as a secretaries day event has grown and turned into so much more. This daylong event is now a fun and revitalizing conference for all women from stay at home mom’s to office staff. Every year there are phenomenal speakers talking about some amazing and relevant topics for all in attendance. And let us not forget the superb trade show that caters specifically to women. Yes ma’am this event has grown since its conception in 2008 to become one of the best female centered networking and development events in the area.
Shirley Borrelli: Honour Yourself
Sometimes it is difficult to feel like you can easily meet and connect with people that you don’t already know. Sometimes you may feel shy or awkward because you don’t know what to say or what to do.
Shirley Borrelli is a confidence coach and she will give you 3 no-fail ways to meet new people that connects you in an authentic way so no one feels shy nor awkward.
In her opening keynote, she will show us:
- How to make a great first impression without saying a single word
- How to connect with people so they want to meet you
- The one word that opens up a conversation.
Shirley is an outgoing, friendly and engaging speaker that will build your confidence anytime you are around other people.
Monica Knight: Dance to the Beat of Your Own Drum
Through music and her own brand of humour, Monica takes the audience on a magical mystery ride and exposes the personal beliefs that keep us clinging to safe routines, bad habits, and dis-empowering attitudes. Once she has ‘shone a light’ on the truth of who we are as human beings, she inspires participants to move forward in their lives by embracing change.
Jackie Yurko: Basic Naturopathic Medicine
Jackie Yurko is a licensed Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine who has been in practice in Edmonton since 2000. Jackie’s key area of interest is women’s health. As a naturopath, Jackie’s main focus is to support people in working towards their health goals and in strengthening and building their overall health. The talk will focus on the basics of naturopathic medicine as well as some simple steps we can take to support some of the key systems of our body (including our immune and digestive system and our adrenals) and our overall health in general.
